The Studio
A small studio with strong opinions about how things should look.
StudioFrame is a photography and design studio founded in 2016 and based between London and Amsterdam. We work with a select number of clients each year across editorial, brand, and commercial briefs.
We believe that good visual work requires time, trust, and a shared understanding of what matters. We are not a production house. We are closer to a collaborator — one with a clear point of view.
Our client list has always been short by design. We believe that deep engagement produces better work than volume. Every project we take on receives the full attention of the studio — not a junior team working from a brief.

Founder
Clara founded StudioFrame after a decade working as a photographer and art director for editorial and luxury clients across Europe. She studied at the Royal College of Art and worked at several of the most respected design studios in London before establishing StudioFrame.
Her work has appeared in Kinfolk, Apartamento, Monocle, and a range of independent publications. She divides her time between client work and her ongoing documentary practice.

History
2016
Studio founded in London after a decade of editorial and commercial practice.
2018
Opened a second base in Amsterdam; began working with European architecture and design clients.
2020
Published a limited-edition monograph of still life photography, sold through independent bookshops.
2022
Expanded into brand identity work, bringing the same visual philosophy to full identity systems.
2024
Selected for the Photography Foundation's annual exhibition. Completed year-long residency with Stillwater Magazine.
